Bai 1:This lab will display information relating to the router boot procedure using the appropriate show commands.
R1>enable (enter privileged EXEC mode)
R1#conf t (enter into global configuration mode)
R1(config)#boot system flash (specify the system file image from flash using the boot command)
R1(config)#exit (exit into privileged EXEC mode)
R1#copy running-config starup-config (save the current configuration)
R1#show running-config (enter the command to display the current configuration)
R1#show starup-config (show infomation about the backup configuration file)
R1#show version (display the IOS version and related information)
R1#show flash (display the status of the flash memory)

Bai 3: This lab will check and document the configuration register settings related to boot method,configure the router to boot from NVRAM,and reload the router.

R1#conf t
R1(config)#config-register 0x2142 (enter the configuration register setting of 0x2142 to tell the router to ignore the router configuration at boot time)
R1(config)#exit
R1#copy running-config startup-config (save the current configuration)
R1#reload (reload the router)

R1#copy startup-config running-config  (reload the saved configuration using the copy commad)

R1(config)#config-register 0x2102 (enter a configuration register setting of 0x2102 to direct the router to load the startup configuration from NVRAM as usual)
R1(config)#exit
R1#copy running-config startup-config (save the current configuration)
R1#reload (reload the router)
