Ok, so you two now know each other. Let's help each other and help ourselves, that's the way it is. And keep in mind that we're friends all!
If you want to do a kind of language exchange, I'd suggest you do it in the forum, as I've tried to make it a good place for this purpose: Firstly, I've integrated this forum with an online dictionary, which is very convennient for you to look up Vietnamese & English words in the forum. Secondly, you can type Vietnamese (with marks) in the forum by choosing the typing mode - this is important to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese. Thirdly, when you do a language exchange in the forum and other members can see how you are doing, they can join your conversations, thus you two can get more help with your language problems from not only each other but also from other forum members. This is a public place and learning a language should be in public, where people interact with each other, and the more people joining, the better the language learning process is. If you want to chat with each other, you can use the integrated chat room by clicking on 'Live Chat' right below the forum logo - you can type Vietnamese in this chat room like in the forum.
But if you want a voice chat, you may want to use YIM, although the sound quality is not very good.
To Kelly, as you can't read Vietnamese instructions: You can look up any word (both Vietnamese and English) in the forum by holding the Ctrl key and right click on the word (for looking up a single word), or you can use the mouse to highlight a group of words and press 'Ctrl + Shift + A' together to look up the word group; or you can enter the word into the input field at top of every page where it says "Nhập từ cần tra nghĩa", then choose a dictionary in the "Chọn từ điển" field: Anh-Việt: English - Vietnamese; Việt - Anh: Vietnamese - English; Anh - Anh: English - English (you probably never need to use this ;), then click on 'Tra nghĩa' (look up) to look up the word you've entered.
Happy language exchange!
