JamboWorks was initially formed by a group of Mambo core developers that wished to bring their technology to the business world. This has been a tremendous success based on Mambo’s open source characteristics - a less-risky, lower-cost, more viable alternative to the expensive and complicated proprietary commercial systems that are only available to a chosen few.
