ITINERARY
Day 1:  Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van ( 150km - lunch, dinner) Overnight at Dong Van Hmong homestay

Our guide or driver will collect you from your accommodation at Ha Giang Motorbike Tours, and from there, we'll begin our journey to Dong Van. As we traverse the undulating terrain, ranging from 800m to 1500m in elevation, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of mountainous landscapes and terraced rice fields. Along the way, we'll make several stops for photo opportunities and explore iconic landmarks such as Heaven's Gate, Bac Sum Pass, and Fairy Mountain. Lunch will be served during our journey.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac ( 130km - B,L,D ) Bao Lac Tay homestay
Upon reaching the pass, take a short 40-minute walk to visit the Sky Pass, before continuing your drive through Meo Vac en route to Bao Lac. Upon arrival, settle into your homestay within the Tay community. In the evening, enjoy free time to fully immerse yourself in the local way of life, offering a glimpse into the authentic experiences of the area's residents. Day 3: Bao Lac – Tra Linh – Trung Khanh – Ban Gioc Waterfall ( 170km - B,L,D) Tay Homestay
Following breakfast, I set off for Ban Gioc Waterfall, with opportunities for river swimming along the route. Along the way, I explored the communities of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups, observing their daily markets and schools. A small town welcomed me for lunch, and in the afternoon, I reached Ban Gioc to settle into the homestay.
Day 4: Ban Gioc Waterfall – Cao Bang ( 100km - B,L )
Following breakfast, embark on a boat excursion to Ban Gioc Waterfall, where a stop is made at the border line between Vietnam and China for travel permission prior to visiting the falls. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or opt for a picnic near the waterfall. On the return journey to Cao Bang, explore the magnificent Nguom Ngao Cave, renowned as one of the most stunning caves in Northern Vietnam, and visit local villages known for their expertise in knife making. The tour concludes in Cao Bang city around 4:00 pm.
